Well, I've been looking to upgrade my computer for about a year now, and I finaly decided to go for it. For those of you this means anything to, here's what I got:

Motherboard: ASUS A7V133 KT-133A
CPU: AMD T Bird 1.133 GHz 266FSB
Cooling Fan: Thermaltake DU0462
Sound Card: Creative Sound Blaster 128 PCI

Had to get the soundcard cause the ASUS board doesn't have an ISA slot. It's kinda like the end of an era, I've had my Soundblaster 16 in my systems since my 368. Abit makes a similar board that does have an ISA slot, and I was tempted to get that instead, but the ASUS is a better board, and I gotta get a new soundcard sometime I suppose...

Now if Crucial would just hurry up and ship my RAM (256 PC133 CAS2) I'll be in business...

damn, everybody be upgradin' lately

that's cuz everything is so damn cheap :)

Aye, that all came to a grand total of $570 bucks...can't beat that.

RAM in particular is dirt cheap, and probably will continue to be so until DDR gets fully implimented. Pretty soon you'll see people going into stores with a wheelbarrow full of PC133 to buy a loaf of bread ;)
